A ramjet is a form of air-breathing jet engine that uses the vehicle’s forward motion to compress incoming air for combustion without a rotating compressor. Hence, statement 2 is correct.
In a ramjet, the high pressure is produced by “ramming” external air into the combustor using the forward speed of the vehicle. The external air that is brought into the propulsion system becomes the working fluid.
Ramjets produce thrust only when the vehicle is already moving, ramjets cannot produce thrust when the engine is stationary or static.

a) Delhi

Delhi government has constituted a ‘Gramin Vikas Board’ for the development of Delhi’s rural region. This time a budget of Rs 200 crore has been allotted for the board. Delhi Minister Gopal Rai said a special plan has been made with officials regarding the speeding up of its projects.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology formed a 17 member advisory committee to guide the Rs 76,000 crore-Semiconductor Mission.
The Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw will be the Chairperson of the committee. NITI Aayog member V K Saraswat, Principal Scientific Advisor, and Secretaries from the Ministry of External affairs, Departments of expenditure, economic affairs, and promotion of industry and internal trade, will be members of the committee.

Gross domestic capital formation includes all expenses made by household, business people and Govt, adding new durable goods to the fixed capital stock of a country.
These assets are in the form of infrastructure such as buildings, roads canals, bridges, means of transport, machinery and other equipments.

Named K2-2016-BLG-0005Lb, the exo-planet located 17,000 light-years from Earth, has been detected by a team of astrophysicists using data obtained by NASA’s Kepler space telescope. Scientists used Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity and a method known as gravitational micro-lensing to spot this object.
