The WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Jamnagar. The Centre aims to channel the potential of traditional medicine, by integrating it with technological advancements and evidence-based research.

b) Singapore

Director General, National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) of India participated virtually in Singapore International Water Week, Water Convention 2022 and gave a presentation on ‘Status of Wastewater Generation, Treatment and Management in India”.
In the second part of the session, panelists from other developing as well as developed countries shared their experiences, challenges and best practices adopted in the sector.

Biofilms are a collective of one or more types of microorganisms that can grow on many different surfaces. Biofilms could be used for wide applications (antibacterial, food fermentation, biofertilizer, filtration, biofouling, prevention of corrosion, antimicrobial agents, wastewater treatment, bioremediation and microbial fuel cells) in food, agricultural, medical, environment and other fields.

d) Jupiter’s Trojan asteroids

‘Lucy’ Mission:

This is NASA’s first mission to explore the Jupiter Trojan asteroids.
When Lucy is making its flybys, it will break the record for the farthest from the sun a spacecraft has run exclusively on solar power.

d) Exercise KRIPAN SHAKTI

Exercise KRIPAN SHAKTI, an Integrated Fire Power exercise was recently conducted by The Indian Army’s Trishakti Crops at the Teesta Field Firing Ranges (TFFR), near Siliguri, West Bengal.
i. The exercise was led by Lieutenant General Tarun Kumar and General Officer Commanding Trishakti Corps.
ii.The aim of the exercise is to showcase the jointmanship and synchronisation capabilities of Indian Army and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) to fight in an integrated battle.
