a) Rajasthan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the ‘Jal Jan Abhiyan’ virtually at Abu Road in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan. On this occasion Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and film actor Nana Patekar among others were also present. It is a public awareness campaign in which Brahmakumaris Sansthan and people associated with the Ministry of Jal Shakti are working on the project. This aims at conserving more than five thousand water bodies across the country and creating new water bodies. This awareness campaign will run for about eight months.

d) Afghanistan

The Saur Revolution was launched by the People’s Democratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA) in 1978 to overthrow Afghan president Mohammed Daoud Khan, who had set up an autocratic one-party system. This socialist revolution is also known as the April Revolution.
The Saur Revolution led to the creation of a socialist Afghan government that was closely aligned to the USSR.

A payment gateway acts as a transaction intermediary between merchants and customers for the payment of goods/services being purchased online. A payment aggregator is a further layer of an interface that allows any kind of transaction across online and /or offline touchpoints. Hence, statement 3 is incorrect.

The payments arm of big technology companies Amazon and Google are among 32 firms that have been given in-principle approval by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as online payment aggregators.

c) BBC

The IT Department recently launched surveys at the BBC’s offices under Section 133A and other provisions of the IT Act, 1961.
The Act allows the IT Department to conduct surveys to gather hidden information. Under Section 133A of the IT Act, an authorized officer is allowed to enter any place of business or profession or charitable activity within their jurisdiction to verify accounting books and other documents as well as stocks, cash and other assets.

a) Ministry of Mines

The Draft Geo-heritage Sites and Geo-relics (Preservation and Maintenance) Bill was released recently by Ministry of Mines for public suggestions.
This proposed legislation has provisions concerning the declaration, preservation, protection and maintenance of geo-heritage sites and geo-relics of national importance. Its objective is to promote research, education and awareness about these sites.
