The US Senate advanced ‘Respect for Marriage Act, that would provide federal protections for same-sex and interracial marriages.
The Respect for Marriage Act repeals the previous Defense of Marriage Act and safeguards same-sex and inter-racial marriage by requiring the recognition of valid marriages regardless of sex, race, ethnicity or national origin.

Saint Kabir was a 15th-century Indian mystic poet and saint. His writings influenced Hinduism’s Bhakti movement, and his verses are found in Sikhism’s scripture Guru Granth Sahib, the Satguru Granth Sahib of Saint Garib Das and Kabir Sagar. Kabir suggested that “Truth” is with the person who is on the path of righteousness, considered everything, living and non living, as divine, and who is passively detached from the affairs of the world. b) UK

India and the UK are set to unveil a new reciprocal visa arrangement whereby 3,000 degree-holding Indian nationals between the ages of 18 and 30 years will be allowed to come to Britain every year to live and work for up to two years.
The UK-India Young Professionals Scheme will be reciprocal and open in early 2023. It is set to be launched during the first bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his British counterpart Rishi Sunak on the margins of the G20 Summit in Bali. India is the first country to benefit from such a scheme.

c) Karnataka

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the silver jubilee edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS 22).
To mark the silver jubilee celebration Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai released a plaque. The inauguration ceremony was attended by French President Emmanuel Macron and ministers from UAE, Australia and Finland. The event was organised by the state Department of IT, Biotechnology and Science & Technology in association with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI).

d) Suraj Bhan

Pension Fund Regulatory & Development Authority has appointed Suraj Bhan as the Chairman of the National Pension System Trust (NPS Trust) which is responsible for managing funds under the National Pension System (NPS). Suraj Bhan has been a trustee on the board of NPS Trust since 2018.
