a) Oxfam India

Recently, Oxfam India Report stated that discrimination in India causes 100 percent of employment inequality faced by women in rural areas in the labour market and 98 percent in urban areas.
· Report’s findings are based on Government’s data on employment and labour from 2004-05 to 2019-20.

b) 2017

India Hypertension Control Initiative was launched in 2017. The mission statement of the initiative is to reduce the issue of hypertension by 25% by 2025. Notably, under the initiative, more than 34 lakh people with hypertension are taking treatment in Government health facilities. India has also won a UN award for its ‘India Hypertension Control Initiative’.

d) SEBI

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has unveiled a detailed framework for Social Stock Exchange (SSE).
It specifies minimum requirements for a Not-for-Profit Organisation (NPO) for registration and disclosure requirements. The capital markets regulator SEBI earlier notified rules for Social Stock Exchange (SSE) to provide social enterprises with an additional avenue to raise funds.

b) United States Trade Representative (USTR)

The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) releases its annual Special 301 Report. It provides the outcome of an annual review of the global state of intellectual property (IP) rights protection and enforcement.

It identifies the trading partners that do not adequately or effectively protect and enforce intellectual property (IP) rights. It aims to improve the environment for authors, brand owners, and inventors around the world. For countries that fail to address U.S. concerns, USTR takes appropriate actions against them which may include enforcement actions under Section 301 of the Trade Act.

· It is a new technology developed by the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), an arm of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
· LoRa technology is a wireless modulation technique in the physical layer, allowing long-range communication using chirp spread spectrum. Hence, statement 1 is correct.

· LoRa technology uses dedicated radios, which are not usually present in end-user devices, limiting interferences from other devices. Hence, statement 2 is correct.

· Banks can use this as their own dedicated private network instead of using a third party network which are presently based either on satellite link or wired (fibre).
· As it can be owned by banks privately, there will be more security from cyber-attacks. Apart from being a more secure platform, LoRa network also allows easy recoverability and upgradation.

· The last mile connectivity of the banking system can be expanded with the LoRa financial network. Hence, statement 3 is correct.
