c) Viper snake

Trimeresurus Mayaae, a new species of snake has been discovered at Umroi Military Station in the Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya. Locally it is known as U Thlen, it is believed to be a malevolent and evil spirit that takes the form of a huge, man-eating snake.

c) Bangladesh

The fourth edition of the Indian Navy-Bangladesh Navy Coordinated Patrol (CORPAT) commenced in the Northern Bay of Bengal recently.
Indian Navy and Bangladesh Navy will undertake joint patrolling along the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL). Two indigenously built ships INS Kora and INS Sumedha are participating in the exercise along with Bangladesh Navy Ships. Maritime Patrol Aircraft of both navies would also participate in the Patrol.
