Chhattisgarh has recognised nearly 4,000 Community Forest Resource (CFR) rights in the state.

Kanger Ghati National Park is the second national park, after Simlipal in Odisha, where CFR rights have been recognised.

b) Youth entrepreneurship

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is equipping the unemployed youth of 16 village panchayats under the Tarapur Atomic Power Station (TAPS) colony with techno entrepreneurial skills through its Advanced Knowledge and Rural Technology Implementation (AKRUTI) programme and is all set to launch similar initiatives in villages surrounding the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project (KKNPP).

INS Gomti (a guided missile frigate) was decommissioned at sunset on 28 May 2022 at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai after 34 years of service. INS Gomti takes its name from the vibrant river Gomti and was commissioned on 16 April 1988 by Defense Minister KC Pant at Mazagon Dock Limited, Bombay.

A period of warming sea surface temperatures is found five to ten days prior to a strengthening of MJO-related precipitation across southern Asia. A break in the Asian monsoon, normally during the month of July, has been attributed to the Madden–Julian oscillation after its enhanced phase moves off to the east of the region into the open tropical Pacific Ocean. Hence, statement 2 is correct.
Unlike a standing pattern like the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO), the Madden–Julian oscillation is a traveling pattern that propagates eastward, at approximately 4 to 8 m/s (14 to 29 km/h; 9 to 18 mph), through the atmosphere above the warm parts of the Indian and Pacific oceans. Hence, statement 3 is correct.

c) Tomb of Sand

Geetanjali Shree’s ‘Tomb of Sand’ has become the first Hindi novel to win the International Booker Prize. The translated Hindi novel has become the first book written in an Indian language to win the prestigious 2022 International Booker Prize. ‘Tomb of Sand’ which was originally published in Hindi as Ret Samadhi is translated into English by Daisy Rockwell.
