a) Manipur

· Shumang Leela is a traditional form of theatre in Manipur and the roles of female artists are all played by male actors and male characters are played by female artists in case of female theatre groups.
· In 2017, Shougrakpam Hemanta was conferred with the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in recognition of his contribution in Shumang Leela. With this, he became the first person to receive the award for this art form.

· Shumang Leela Groups of the early stage attempted to preserve and promote humanism, tolerance, confidence, devotion, truth and justice through their performances.

· The present day Shumang Leelas have been trying to focus on the issues of moral values, unity and integrity.

a) China

China became the first country to approve a needle-free, inhaled version of a Covid-19 vaccine made by Tianjin-based CanSino Biologics.
China approved CanSino’s Ad5-nCoV for emergency use as a booster vaccine. The inhaled version can stimulate cellular immunity and induce mucosal immunity to boost protection without intramuscular injection.

d) West Bengal

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has imposed an environmental compensation of Rs. 3,500 crores on the state of West Bengal for allegedly not managing the solid as well as liquid waste, causing harm to the environment. The order further added that the restoration measures should be carried out within three months.

a) Thiruvananthapuram

Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired the 30th Southern Zonal Council meeting in Thiruvananthapuram.
In the meeting, 26 issues were discussed, 9 issues were resolved and 17 issues were reserved for further consideration. The main objectives of the Zonal Council meeting are settlement Centre- State disputes and inter-state disputes through mutual agreement, promotion of regional cooperation between States, among others.

c) Neither 1 nor 2

· It is Indigenous Urea, introduced firstly by the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) for farmers across the world.
· It is urea in the form of a nanoparticle. It is a nutrient (liquid) to provide nitrogen to plants as an alternative to the conventional urea. Hence, statement 1 is correct.

· It is developed to replace conventional urea and it can curtail the requirement of the same by at least 50%.
· Conventional urea is effective 30-40% in delivering nitrogen to plants, while the effectiveness of the Nano Urea Liquid is over 80%. Hence, statement 2 is correct.
