b) New Delhi

The Delhi Cabinet had passed an ambitious Delhi Startup Policy which aims to turn the capital into an international startup hub.
The vision is to enable Delhi to emerge as a “Global Innovation Hub and the most preferred destination for Startups by 2030”. The government intends to encourage, facilitate and support 15,000 startups by 2030. A Startup Policy Monitoring Committee will be formed to oversee the Policy. It will be headed by the Finance Minister of the Delhi Government.

b) West Asia

West Bank is a landlocked territory in West Asia. It also contains a significant section of the western Dead Sea.
It was captured by Jordan after the Arab-Israeli War (1948) but Israel snatched it back during the Six-Day War of 1967 and has occupied it ever since.
The West Bank is sandwiched between Israel and Jordan.
One of its major cities is Ramallah, the de facto administrative capital of Palestine.
At present, there are around 130 formal Israeli settlements along with 26 lakh Palestinians in the West Bank.
Masafer Yatta is in the 60% of the territory where the Palestinian Authority is prohibited from operating.
The Palestinians want the West Bank to form the main part of their future state.

The J&K Delimitation Commission has recommended all five parliamentary constituencies in J&K to have an equal number of assembly constituencies for the first time. The commission had earlier proposed increasing the number of assembly seats in the union territory from 83 to 90 and also proposed six additional seats for the Jammu division and one for Kashmir. This means, out of the total 90 assembly constituencies, 43 seats have been proposed in Jammu and 47 in Kashmir.
