Delhi-Mumbai Expressway: PM inaugurates the First Strech
PM Modi recently opened the Sohna-Dausa portion of the Delhi-Mumbai expressway. This will result in a 2.5-hour reduction in travel time between Dausa, Rajasthan, and Sohna, Haryana. It was 5 hours earlier. Sohna and Dausa are 246 kilometres apart. This section serves as an alternative to the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway.
The Sohna-Dausa segment of road
It will run through the districts of Gurugram, Palwal, and Nuh. The route will span more than 11 significant villages in Gurugram, 47 villages in Nuh, and 7 villages in Palwal. It will be connected to the Mumbai-Delhi expressway. The connections will be created near the stretches between DND and Jaipur, as well as on the connection between Jaitpur and Ballabhargh.

Delhi-Mumbai Expressway
It is 1,386 Km long and under construction. The project began in 2019, and the total cost, including the purchase of land, is 13.1 billion USD. The journey duration between Delhi and Mumbai will be cut to 12 hours as a result of this. Travel time between the two major cities is now 12 hours.
