FITUR 2023 International Travel Exhibition
The International Tourism Fair, or FITUR, is a five-day travel exhibition being hosted in Madrid, Spain. India took part in the display. One of the most significant tourism exhibitions in the world is the tourism fair. Feria Internacional del Turismo, or FITUR.
Explanation
The tourism industry has seen a sharp decline since COVID. The countries’ loosened travel restrictions have the travel and tourism industry searching for ways to restock. India is going to the show to bring in more tourists. Following COVID, about 42 million Indians employed in the tourism industry lost their jobs. India is currently seeking for ways to grow its tourism industry. FITUR is one of the best opportunities as a result.
FITUR Exhibition facts
It was held for the first time in 1981. Each participating nation has its own pavilion during the expo. These pavilions will be used by the nations to display their tourist attractions.

At the exhibition, India is represented by the Ministry of Tourism. India has 253 square metres at the exhibition to display its attractions. Thirty other nations, including India, are taking part in the expo.
