iNCOVACC Vaccine: First Intranasal COVID-19 Vaccine
The administration of vaccines can be done in various ways such as oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intradermal. To treat COVID-19, however, Bharat Biotech recently introduced an intranasal vaccination. Its name is iNCOVACC. The vaccination is delivered intra-nasally through the nose. The vaccine has received Indian approval, and a booster dosage is to be given.
About iNCOVACC Vaccine
- The vaccine costs Rs. 800 in private hospitals and Rs. 325 in public healthcare facilities.
- It is suggested to take two doses. The doses must be given within a 28-day window of time.
- The carrier of iNCOVACC is the Adeno Virus. In other words, the Adeno virus receives an injection of the isolated Coronavirus antigen. This is done to boost the body’s immunity capacity. Injections of vaccinations into people’s bodies instruct the immune system to combat viruses. The transmission of viruses contributes to higher levels of combat.
- It is simple to deliver iNCOVACC. since the vaccine is administered without the use of needles or syringes.
- The administration of vaccines doesn’t need to be done by experts. The vaccine can be given by any regular person.
Who should not take iNCOVACC?
If you have a fever or allergies, you should not take iCONVACC. Additionally, if your immune system is already impaired due to AIDS or the other immune-related condition, you shouldn’t use iCONVACC.
