MPPSC Selection Process 2022 for Prelims, Mains, Interview & Final Selection
MPPSC Recruitment Process 2022
MPPSC is going to conduct the recruitment process for 283 vacancies under different posts. Interested candidates can fill out the MPPSC Application form online latest by February 9, 2022. The MPPSC (State Service Exam) is held once a year as per the vacancy and consists of three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview. The MPPSC Selection Procedure will give candidates a rough understanding of the various stages of the selection process and help them develop an efficient study plan to crack each of these stages.
Candidates must meet or exceed the cut-off marks of each of these stages to make it to the merit list. Candidates who clear the MPPSC Prelims Exam 2021 will be eligible for the Mains exam. Further, applicants who clear the Mains exam will appear for the MP PCS Interview. The final merit list will be based on the Mains and Interview. Stage 1: MPPSC Prelims Exam
Candidates who have applied for The MPPSC State Service Exam 2022 will have to first appear in the preliminary exam which is the first stage of the recruitment process. MPPSC Prelims Exam will be an objective type paper that carries a total of 200 multiple choice questions carrying 2 marks each. The total marks for the preliminary exam are 400, and the time duration for the same is 4 hours.
Only the candidates who score equal to or more than the set MPPSC cutoff marks for the prelims shall be selected for the next stage of the selection process which is the MPPSC Mains Exam.

Stage 2: MPPSC Mains Exam 2022
The Mains exam is the second stage of the MPPSC Selection Process in which only the candidates who have qualified for the MPPSC prelims exam can appear. This selection stage is more challenging than the preliminary stage of the MPPSC Exam.
The MPPSC Mains Exam carries a total of 1400 marks. The candidates who qualify for this exam move forward to the last and final stage of the MPPSC Selection Process, the Interview round.

Stage 3: MPPSC Interview 2022
Interviewers engage with each selected applicant in this round and ask questions mapping to various aspects such as their educational credentials, experience, etc. This round’s main aim is to evaluate candidates’ mental agility, situational intelligence, clarity of mind, analytical and soft skills.
The Interview round carries a total of 175 marks.
MPPSC Physical Ability Test 2021 (If Applicable)
For a few MPPSC Vacancies/ Posts, the candidates’ physical measurements/fitness levels will be taken into consideration. For such positions, candidates must have good mental and physical health in order to perform their roles and obligations as officers. Candidates who are physically fit and stable will be shortlisted.
